How Tiny & Sweet Was Born

How Tiny and Sweet Was Born: Our Story

It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come—from personalising bags in our living room to running a fast-growing baby and toddler clothing brand that supports our family of six. Tiny and Sweet started with a spark of creativity and a lot of determination, and today, it’s so much more than just a brand—it’s our passion, our pride, and our full-time family business.

Back when my husband was working as an estate agent, I was juggling home life and experimenting with selling personalised jewellery boxes and bags on Etsy. I used a Cricut machine and heat transfer vinyl to add names and designs to my products, and I loved the creative process. One day, while browsing Etsy, I noticed other sellers offering baby clothing. It piqued my interest—so I decided to give it a go.

With the cheapest sublimation printer I could find, I started creating designs on polyester baby and children’s clothing. To my surprise, it took off quickly. Orders started rolling in, and what really made people choose Tiny and Sweet was the originality of the designs. I began receiving constant compliments—not just on the quality, but on the creativity. That’s when I knew this was more than just a side project.

I made the decision to stop selling jewellery boxes and bags to fully focus on baby and toddler clothing. That’s when Tiny and Sweet officially became a brand—and it just kept growing. We gained loyal, returning customers and the kind of feedback that fuels you to keep pushing forward.

Eventually, I turned to my husband and said, “It’s time.” He left his well-paid job and joined me full time. Scary? Yes. But it was also the best decision we’ve ever made. Together, we poured everything we had into our business—and it started to fund our life. Every bill, every birthday, every school trip… paid for by Tiny and Sweet.

In April 2024, we bought our dream car brand new off the showroom floor. A huge moment for us, especially when we thought back to the beaten-up old Volvo we were driving just two years earlier. If someone had told us back then what was ahead, we wouldn’t have believed them.

With the success of our sublimation business, we decided to take a massive step forward and invest in a direct-to-garment (DTG) printer. It was a five-figure leap, but one that has absolutely transformed our brand. Now we can print on 100% cotton garments, offering a much higher quality product to our customers. The results? Unbelievable. The growth we’ve seen since introducing DTG printing has exceeded all expectations.

We work hard—often into the night, around our four little ones—but we wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. Every outfit we create is a reflection of the love, creativity, and hustle that built this brand from the ground up.

We are endlessly grateful for our incredible community of customers, and we’re beyond excited for what’s to come. From birthday outfits to holiday specials, Tiny and Sweet will continue to bring you the most charming, heartfelt designs for your little ones.

And soon… a forever home for our family—thanks to all of you.

With love,
The Tiny and Sweet Family
